With proper care, Burmese curl wigs or extensions can be straightened with heat and revert to their natural curl pattern when washed. 

Care: To maintain its moisture and curl definition, Burmese curl hair requires regular deep conditioning and use of moisturisers. When drying, air drying os using a diffuser is recommended to minimise frizz. Sleeping on a satin pillowcase of wrapping the hair can prevent tangles. 

Different grades and types

Burmese  hair is often categorized based on quality, processing, and consistency of length. 

Virgin hair: Hair from a single, unprocessed donor. This is the most expensive and highest-quality option.

Remy hair: Collected from multiple donors but with the cuticles aligned in the same direction to prevent tangling.

Non-Remy hair: Collected from various sources, and the cuticles are not aligned, which makes it more prone to tangling and shedding.

Drawn hair grades: These refer to the hair’s fullness from root to tip.

Single drawn: Contains varying lengths, resulting in naturally tapered ends.

Double drawn: Shorter hairs are removed, leading to thicker, more uniform ends.

Super double drawn: Almost all hairs are the same length, providing maximum density and fullness.
